Prayer for Endurance

Loving Father, I feel like a starfish out of water struggling through my challenges. I realize I don’t need to explain what I’m feeling because You already know. Yet in the midst of my present challenges, I need what only You can give me. I need endurance. I need the strength to fight the good fight, to hold tightly to my faith, to believe with all my heart that You still have great things planned for me, things that are beyond what I can imagine. Since I don’t know what You have in store for me today, I pray that You will give me all I need to endure, to do my best today to make my life count for You. Use me today, Father, to make a difference, a difference that will show me that enduring is what I need to do for my benefit and for the benefit of those around me. Amen.
